With mountain views, Dunas De Areia Preta is located in Ribeira da Prata and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, children's playground and picnic area. It was clean and the family setting was exactly what we were looking for. The home cooked meals breakfast and dinner were delicious. We enjoyed the late afternoon walks down to the black sandy beach.

Located in Cidade Velha, Palmira House offers beachfront accommodation 11 km from Cabo Verde University and provides various facilities, such as a rooftop pool, barbecue facilities and a shared... Fantastic establishment. Spacious rooms, big beds. All areas very clean. Very pleasant and helpful host (friendly welcome, help with arranging taxi, etc.). Ideal for families - we enjoyed the pool and basket for basketball. Short walking distance to the center of Cidade Velha.

Featuring mountain views, Casa Tota provides accommodation with a terrace and a balcony, around 34 km from Cape Verde National Stadium. A nice view from a spacious balcony, beautiful interior and gorgeous paintings on the wall. It was fascinating to stay here for one night in our trip through the island. Apart of that, we got the receipt and tasting of craft grog drink which is so good.

A recently renovated property, KAZARÃO DI MAVETE - Guesthouse is set in Praia near Praia de Gamboa, Praia Negra and Justice Palace. Stayed in room 2 which is amazingly restored with air conditioning, lots of natural light from those 3 large windows, French balcony, ocean view, and a very modern bathroom with an excellent shower. Internet was perfect during my entire stay. Enjoyed the complimentary Nespresso coffee in the lobby. Excellent airport transfers and a half day tour to a nearby historic town and fort were arranged by the owner at minimal cost. The location of the property was excellent and breakfast was easy to obtain about 50 meters up the street at a delightful cafe again at low cost. Enjoyed lunches, dinners and cold beers at the many restaurants, bars and cafes within walking distance of the guesthouse. Eddy is an exceptional host and very knowledgeable about everything in Cape Verde. He brings staying at this accommodation to another level. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Cape Verde and would without hesitation recommend Eddy to suggest/arrange any tours in this beautiful country.

Situated in Praia, near Praia de Gamboa, Sucupira Market and Ethnography Museum, Cubico Tota has a terrace. The air-conditioned accommodation is 1.5 km from Praia Negra. Close to market where I can eat cheap local dish and minivan station for Tarrafal. The guy running this accommodation is polite and very helpful. Apartment is clean and there is security locker. Wifi is fastest during my travel in Africa for more than a month.

Located in Praia, 700 metres from Praia de Gamboa and 1 km from Praia Negra, Techas City Center Luxurious Suite offers air conditioning. Nice location on a quiet safe street across from the post office. Very comfortable for 2 people with a nice large bathroom. Central to everything and a nice easy check-in and check-out. The food at Techas Place was also great and we ate there for dinner and breakfast. The wifi worked very well and the shower was nice and hot. This apartment was a great value with a warm welcome and they were also able to arrange an early breakfast for us and taxi so that we could make our morning flight. Obrigado para todo!

The property is clean and tidy, centrally located in the plateau, at walking distance to major attractions like Sicupira market, Cabral Museum & Memorial and the bus terminal to Tarrafal is literally down the road. Maria is a wonderful hostess, she is very helpful and attentive to her guests’ needs. She even stayed up late into the night to wait for my arrival.
