I chose Orietta Residencial based on exceptional other reviews, mentioned facilities and friendly atmosphere, and proximity to the Port (for travel to Santo Antao), main streets of Mindelo, and Laginha Beach. In all cases this was a fantastic choice. The Italian couple who run Orietta, and their team, are unbelievably friendly and helpful with a determination to make even the smallest stay perfect. The location is on a quiet street very close to everything, and with an amazing interior courtyard. The top terrace overlooking the pool is a nice relaxed sunny spot for breakfast but also to work and in the evening to have a few drinks during sunset. It is cooler and less rushed and noisy than the rest of Mindelo, away from some of the hassles in town. The room was cool, very tidy, with everything you need, including a marble bathroom with a large, reliable shower. Everything was spotlessly tidy and clean and the terrace area is perfectly designed to allow guests to feel at home and to easily relax. As the hosts also made is possible for me to arrive early (from the airport) and leave late (for the port), I can say with certainty their only focus is the well being of guests. From walking round Mindelo I can also say with certainty they have the best place!

Casa JPi ligger på strandpromenaden i São Pedro, 100 m fra Sao Pedro-stranden og 12 km fra Torre de Belem. Feb 21 to March 2. JPi hotel is a gem located in the town of San Pedro. You will have the best view of the Island as it bears mountain, ocean and planes landing on the airport. Jean Pierre the owner is your guest relation rep, the cook, your guide, etc... At night, you will enjoy the sounds of the ocean and you can safely vent around with the locals. It offers a more reserved stay from the noise of the main city Mindelo. Transportation is a bit lacking in and out but renting a car will solve that issue. Breakfast was excellent and local restaurants also offer great menus.

Casa Bom Dia er et nyrenoveret pensionat i Mindelo, 1,6 km fra Praia Da Laginha. Der er bar og udsigt over byen. Der er adgang til terrasse og gratis privat parkering. Everything! The owners are really nice. They even prepared us a lunch package early in the morning, because we couldnt have breakfast with them as we had to leave very early.

There is a nice terras with a nice breeze. good location, city center is 10min walk and the beach is also 10min walk. I was sick during my stay and Filomena made me tea and a 'magic potion'. She was very helpful. Even sick I enjoyed the stay!

Own turtle! A special place, centrally located, friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful! You should go there!

As Hortênsias ligger blot 1,1 km fra Praia Da Laginha og tilbyder indkvartering i Mindelo med adgang til tagterrasse med pool, have samt fælles køkken. Everything ! Spacious Rooms, great location. The staff goes above and beyond. Impeccably clean. I swear the lady was cleaning the walls everyday. You can literally eat off the floor. We arrived a day late because of delayed flight and they kept in contact to make sure everything is ok.

Laginha Beach Guest House ligger i Mindelo, blot 400 m fra Praia Da Laginha, og tilbyder indkvartering ved stranden med have, fælles opholdsstue og gratis wi-fi. perfect located, close to everything and easy to reach! the owners a very nice and helpful. we are definitely coming back! there are some good restaurants close by and the beach is just a few meters down the street. the accommodation have everything you need for your stay, not missing anything!

Pensionatet Óscar ligger ca. 2 km fra Torre de Belem og har en rolig gadeudsigt samt indkvartering med terrasse og balkon. Super clean. Nice balcony. Great host ! Lots of advises on our future hikes in an Antão :)
