I really appreciated my stay in Starlight Inn. The place is very quiet, located on the top of a mountain with great views of the Andes; not to mention the company of Rocky (the hostel's llama). Victor Negret, the manager and owner, was so helpful and nice, prepared me delicious and well-served breakfast and dinner with so much care and love. I ended up extending my stay because it was very pleasant. A great plus of Starlight Inn is that you have coffee\tea available at all times and also bikes included in the price. It's just so much value for the money. Thank you for your hospitality, Victor, I'll definitely recommend your place to anyone I know and hope to come back soon.

L'Hostal Doña Clarita & Vegetarían Food est un séjour chez l'habitant récemment rénové à Chugchilán, où vous pourrez profiter de son bain en plein air et de son jardin. The family were so warm friendly and welcoming. They were funny, lovely to talk to and extremely hospitable! Lovely clean chalet style rooms with balcony and view of the mountains. Amazing value, tasty food, free tea coffee water and banana bread.

The host was very warm and courteous person and the hospitality was really great. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Rio Bamba to have a stay at this location. The rooms were extremely clean and tidy .

This was day 1 for my gf and me coming from the quilatoa loop trek. We were so tired arriving but was very nice to be welcomed by the staff of this place. The room was simply but that was exactly what we needed; a place to crash after a long days hike. The view from the porch was breathtaking. The dinner and breakfast were awesome. We ordered a couple box lunches for day 2 of the quilatoa loop trek. I couldn't have asked for anything better to fuel us on your trek. Thank you! You guys were great!

Exceptional value, a very kind host, and a great breakfast. The old building is charming and while it wasn’t all that social the travellers I met here were very interesting. Anita speaks good English and can help you plan trips around the city. There are good restaurants close by.
