Tampere Maja offers accommodation in an 18th century wooden house in the heart of the Old Town of Tartu. There is a cultural club in the cellar, showing exhibitions of Estonian and Finnish art. The staff were wonderful and very friendly. I loved the cleanliness too (hats off to the cleaning lady!). The building itself was a delight too.

Hostess was very nice and welcoming. Clean place with kitchen ready to use, shower with toilet and a separate toilet. The view from our room was fantastic especially when sun was setting. Very quiet place. Clean and not too far away from town.

Excellent kitchen equipment. There was everything- forks, spoons, knifes, cups, kettle, dishes, cleaner and sponge, even spices, etc. View from windows at the lake and trees- beautiful and relaxing.
