Overlooking the Valley of the Kings, Scorpion House Luxor features accommodations with a Nubian décor. It offers free Wi-Fi in some rooms and a sun terrace. Amazing location for seeing the tombs and temples. Tayeb is incredibly helpful with all things Egypt not just what’s around Luxor. His hospitality is the best I’ve experienced in all of Egypt. Make sure to have dinner there as it’s the best food I’ve had all trip long. Breakfast is also incredibly filling with a variety of different foods every morning. If you require a driver for anything (I recommend it for sightseeing) ask for Hassan he was a legend. He knew all of the best times to visit places to avoid the crowds and lots of local hidden gems which I would not have found otherwise. The property itself has a pool, small library and many sitting areas. The amount of literature on the surrounding area (half French/half English literature) in the library alone makes the visit worth it. Definitely take an evening or two to read through everything and to pick Tayeb’s brain about the locals tombs. He is a wealth of knowledge. Also on site there is a couple of really well behaved cute pets. The West Bank is quieter than city life on the East but that’s part of the charm. For anyone who is considering going to Luxor I would 10/10 recommend staying here.

Karima House is set in the West bank district of Luxor, 1.8 km from Medinet Habu Temple, 2.7 km from Colossi of Memnon and 2.8 km from Deir el-Medina. It's a lovely, spacious, cozy, friendly place, very clean, comfortable beds and with amazing sunset view. The staff was helpful and friendly. we feld like we were part of the family. I liked the breakfast too - it was very tasty. We had enjoyable time in Karima house!

Everything, the family were so welcoming and lovely, they helped with everything you needed. Took me into town and took me to a wonderful restaurant looking over the valley of the kings ... amazing people The swimming pool was great and very clean, everything was very clean.

They make me feel like home and the food which they provided was so good. The place is clean. Out of my expectations. They maintain the place really well. The location was great and the staff were kind and helpful. It is very clean and the shared bathrooms were kept immaculate. The location on the West Bank is ideal. It is quiet with many good restaurants nearby and super easy access to the East Bank. The owner is exceptionally kind and can help you arrange anything you want to do. He took me on a tour of the West Bank and charged a very fair price and had great recommendations. Breakfast is good and plentiful, if you choose to purchase it. I would stay here again without question.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated HabuHeritageHomeStayInLuxor provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. With mountain views, this accommodation offers a terrace. Masria and her family were very welcoming and helpful. It was nice to be the only guests and to relax a bit. It was especially nice to be able to have a “meal like home” when we asked. It is the small things that really enhance your experience in new places.
