Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Portman Lodge offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. Breakfast was excellent and honestly why we chose Portman Lodge. My husband wanted to experience an English Breakfast. Neal was super helpful and friendly. The room was much nicer, comfortable and more modern than expected.

Trish and Mel were so lovely and kind as I was with my granddaughter alone so it was so nice to have their support with luggage and food . Vince and Irene are fabulous hosts! You cannot ask for better hosts. The building is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast was delicious (homemade bread).
