Situated in Great Longstone, the recently renovated Counting Sheep features accommodation 8.5 km from Chatsworth House and 19 km from Buxton Opera House. The lovely personal touches(the sheep items)plus loved the themed halloween mugs..hamper was nice,plenty of hot drink choices and a big bottle of water which was great.Lovely little village,good pubs and walks.

Vegetarian breakfast, lots of choice and HUGE portions (top tip, ask for small!). Loved our 4 poster bed, room was immaculate with lots of extras. Very quiet location.

I enjoyed the stay in the guesthouse, the room was very comfy and spacious. And Castleton is a beautiful village to explore the Peak District.
