Set 24 km from Volcano Atitlan, Una Noche Con Mical offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden. The owner was so friendly and made you feel extra welcome. We had just finished our 3 day hike from Xela and you could tell he was even trying to make sure the room was ready asap for us. He even prints out a little sign welcoming you which is such a nice touch. The terrace is lovely and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is just a short walk out of town and has a more local feel.

Set in Santa Cruz La Laguna in the Solola region, Posada Del Viajero - Mayan Travelers Inn has a terrace and lake views. Lovely place, friendly people, great breakfast, fantastic view, great WiFi even though the description said there was no WiFi available. Will definitely recommend this place.

Great place on the lake, with beautiful sunsets and nice amenities. The host, Fernando, is extremely friendly and helpful any time we needed. He even got up to help us get a boat at 6am! We very highly recommend staying in this peaceful house across the lake!

The place is exactly where Google says it is but the owner came and got me anyway to walk me. Despite the language barrier she was super helpful. They have some construction going on in the yard so there's a few people about and some noise but not really a big deal. Great location, but a tough walk with your stuff from the boat. I had no idea about the San Juan hill. I was able to use the kitchen and the fridge and the roof too. Super comfy and clean bed, really great room for just myself.
