The host went above and beyond any host’s duty. He helped us organize a driver weeks ahead of the trip, was always there to answer any of my questions, made suggestions and gave us tips. This is why I always prefer home stays over hotels. It is the personal touch that makes the whole experience so much more memorable. The location is central and yet far away enough from the loud craziness of the city center. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, and I loved sitting on the spacious terrace at night.

Located 1.2 km from Chaurasi Khambon ki Chhatri, THE CASTLE VIEW HOME STAY offers a terrace and free WiFi, all in the old town of Būndi. This homestay is 200 metres from Būndi Palace. We had a fantastic stay at the Castle View Homestay (the beautiful clue really is in the title). Comfy beds, amazing homemade food both for breakfast and dinner, and we were looked after so well. Absolutely recommended for a stay in the fascinating city of Bundi.
