He provided tips & tricks, printed ski resort information to us when we got down for breakfast. Breakfast each morning was eggs and bacon, provided with a pan where you could fry them yourselves. He gave us a bottle of sake as a present when we had dinner, and even sat with us during our meal, sharing stories.

The owner and the staff were very nice. They helped me bring my luggage to my room and always poured me water when I needed to refill my bottle. They were very helpful in suggesting places to eat and visit. The hostel is very cozy and clean. It can get challenging to go to the hostel from the train station especially when you have a luggage but aside from that, everything was perfect and I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in sapporo :)

Ocho Guest House is located within a 10-minute walk to Horohirabashi subway station and a 5-minute walk from Nakajimakoen Dori tram station. Amazing host, facilities were so good and bed nice and comfy. Felt the most comfortable, safe, and it was super good. Close to metro and tram so very good location. And beautiful area. If you stay in Sapporo, go here. Also good breakfast!
