Guest House Wakabaya is situated in Takamatsu, a 5-minute walk away from Hanazono Station of the Kotoden Nagao Line. The Kotoden Nagao Line can be accessed from Takamatsu-Chikko Station. We were at 88-temple-pilgrimage, and Wakabaya-san helped us to plan the last temples perfectly: made a reservation of a ryokan, gave us timetables of buses, etc. This was really helpful! It’s very spacious and has the best water pressure I have ever experienced in my life. I hope that I will stay again for several nights when I return. It’s a great location and wonderful value especially if you can book a weekend. The home was spotless and the owner let us store luggage at his home after checkout so we could explore the island. Can’t recommend this enough. There is a great okonomiyaki restaurant next door and an Italian eatery down the street for dinner. Remember to bring cash because that’s what the owner requires up front for your stay.

Beautiful, comfortable home which was a very short walk to Noguchi Museum in the nicest neighborhood. Close to a ton of great restaurants but very quiet and peaceful. We wished we lived here!

Wonderful revival of the old bath house as a cafe and the former owner's residence as a guesthouse in the historical street of Tadotsu. We enjoyed the stylish place and the new onsen-style bathroom with a ceramic tub. Comfortable beds and complete privacy at the guesthouse.

Located in Takamatsu, 5 km from Kitahamaebisu Shrine, maison de stuffmarket provides accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The house is beautifully designed, very clean and super comfortable bed, great shower. Breakfast is very good. Yumi and Tadao are so thoughtful and caring and gave good recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. Everything is perfect! Highly recommended!
