Travelling in the countryside of Japan is not always easy for international travellers but he makes you relax during your stay! - Lovely hospitality. You can enjoy bonfire every night. - Clean facility, nice demarcation of quiet sleeping area and outdoor living space.

Situated in Minami Aso, 17 km from Naka-dake, Wakka provides a garden. The property is located 19 km from Aso Farm Land. Guests can enjoy mountain views. The home made breakfast taste so good, in Japanese-western style, with homemade jam and honey. The room is clean and comfortable, all equipment are very new and tidy. There is basic kitchen equipment, microwave and small oven which can do some easy cooking. Love the wooden bathroom and toilet, the pleasant natural smell. The room is right facing Mt. Aso. The scenery inside and outside the room is amazing, like a picture. The owners are very nice and helpful.

Situated in Kumamoto, an 40-minute walk from Hosokawa Residence Gyobutei, Hiroshimaya provides air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi. This place is absolutely incredible! The hosts are kind and sweet, the facilities are cosy, and the space is soothing and aesthetic. The building apparently is 100 years old, so it has a very traditional Japanese character which is exactly what you want from a trip here. The hosts also volunteered to drive me to the train station so I would be on time for the next leg of my journey. I stayed here only overnight, but it's the sort of place that makes you wish you had stayed for longer.

Dyeing and Hostel Nakashimaya se nahaja e 2 min hoje od železniške postaje Senbabashi in 20 min hoje od železniške postaje JR Kumamoto. I was using the SunQ bus pass, and this hostel was about a 7 min walk from the bus terminal. I arrived before check-in and was able to drop off my luggage so I could sightsee. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful. The hostel is beautifully decorated and very clean. The goldfish in the entryway are stunning. I had a private room with plenty of space for my luggage and futon. The room has an AC/ heater unit and a small table, too. There are bathrooms downstairs and upstairs, and the shower is spacious and clean. I used the upstairs lounge room to relax and chat with another hostel guest. There are A LOT of manga there, but I didn't have a chance to read any. I briefly went to the roof in the rain to see the castle lit up. I didn't have a chance to do laundry or use the kitchen, but everything was neat and easily accessible. I had to leave very early the next morning, and self checkout was easy. I felt at home and very safe staying here, and I can't wait to visit again. The pictures are of the goldfish in the entrance and some sakura on the walk to the bus station.

Omusubi guesthouse is an extraordinary place to experience authentic Japanese culture! Rie is such an amazing host who gave us a lot of great advice for exploring the area. Mamihara and surroundings have a lot to offer, especially in terms of beautiful nature spots, forest and shinto shrines! We felt very much at home here. Please make sure to stay in this unique guesthouse, we will come back!

Staff were really friendly and go all out to make you feel comfortable. Although the house has a history of 150 years old, there were technology such as sound sustem, projector and even Karaoke over the BBQ dinner. Definitely recommended to have a stay
