I loved the place with references to manga/anime everywhere in the house, great collection of pokemon cards 😅... Totsi is a super host, when I arrived he was preparing super yummy Dorayaki (Japanese pancakes with sweet bean paste) with the other travelers and invited me to join them 😋 After that we played card games till midnight. Close to the hostel there are several onsen opened until 2am with outdoor bath that are perfect for relaxing night bath. The facilities in the house were really good and everything was clean. The place was excellent value for money Thank you Totsi ! 🙏

The room was clean and well-maintained. Most notably, the hosts were super adorable, kind, and generous people and it really made my Beppu trip so much more memorable! I am glad I chose this place and I would pick this again in a heartbeat if I ever get a chance to visit Beppu. Seriously thank you guys and I wish you nothing but the best! 😭

Situated in Beppu in the Oita region, with Beppu Station and Beppu Art Museum nearby, 森のカフェ features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Great location about seven minutes from Beppu Station. Also hostess is very sweet. AC worked. And facilities were clean. There’s also a washing machine tho I didn’t use it since it was my first day of traveling. Very large apt which was more than I needed. But price was excellent.
