It's a relatively small house in which the guests live together with the host and the staff. It's a family atmosphere between the host, the staff and the guests. We cooked together, made some trips and just went for dinner/drinking. Since I speak only a bit of Japanese there was some language barrier, since the host speaks only japanese. However, some of the guests could speak a bit of English and for the translation apps could be used. Nevertheless I never felt excluded.

Travelers House おーさんてぃん青空舎 se encuentra en Taketomi, a 14 min a pie de Playa Naarasa, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y terraza. I really enjoyed my stay with Travelers House. Hosts are kind and provide quality breakfast and welcoming drinks. Even got a foot bath with beautiful flowers. The room is charming and one can hear great jazz or classical music during breakfast time. Like staying in a liitle museum with plants, collector stamps and book on Hygge.

ゲストハウス石垣 is situated in Ishigaki Island and features a shared lounge. Guests can make use of a garden. Rooms are fitted with a shared bathroom. Ishigaki Island is 1.2 km from the hostel. La guest house es una casa nueva, muy bien decorada y nueva. La habitación estupenda y la cocina con todo lo necesario y moderna. El salón muy agradable para estar y con un estilo de decoración moderno. Y en la planta de arriba hay una gran terraza con hamacas para relajarse. Y los baños y duchas nuevos y estupendos. Destacar la ayuda de Andy y Haikuro para faciltarte cualquier gestión e información que necesites y crea un ambiente amigable entre los que estabamos alojados. Una sensacion muy hogareña que permite disfrutar más la estancia en Ishigaki

Guesthome Machiya Koza está en Okinawa, a 8,2 km de Castillo de Nakagusuku y a 8,6 km de Castillo Katsuren. Este alojamiento, que tiene cocina compartida, también ofrece terraza. Phyllis, the owner/manager is extremely kind and generous with her time and knowledge. Wonderful service. Lovely and tidy place

The staff at Koa were incredibly friendly and helpful. The bathroom was spotless, and the bedroom was comfortable and inviting. Plus, the closest beach is just a short walk away and absolutely beautiful. If you're planning a trip to Miyakojima, I highly recommend staying at Koa.

The location, the back of the hotel has access directly to beach (although it’s not a clean walk-way, once in the beach what the sand that water touches is super clean +2-4meters) Really such an amazing place to wake up too! Finding food nearby can be tricky in the winter months! Please be aware. There is a store nearby that closes by 8pm! Stock up on basics Nearby restaurant is literally one of the best in the area! No exaggeration, it is the restaurant the host recommended!

El Shimaotoya se encuentra en Iriomote y ofrece habitaciones privadas y compartidas. Se ofrece servicio de traslado gratuito desde Nakama (Ohara) puerto, a 5 minutos en coche. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the guest-house well organised, with lots of facilities. The location was also beautiful - in an agricultural area with a forest nearby (where I caught a very rare glimpse of an Iriomote wildcat).
