The friendliness of the host family was amazing! They were very warm, constantly took care that I had all the necessities and showed me the best spots on the island; even helped me with the bike renting and the drive back to the airport! The room was also very clean and equipped with the essentials.

ゲストハウス喜舎場, a property with a shared lounge, is set in Ishigaki Island, 1.7 km from Painuhama Artificial Beach, 2.9 km from Tadahama Beach, as well as 500 metres from Yaeyama Museum. The dormitory is very confortable. The guesthouse is close to the ferry terminal so it's easy if you want to visit some island around :) Last but not least the owners are very nice and helpfull. I had a great time here :)

Located just 1.5 km from Sesoko Beach, Sesoko Blue offers accommodation in Sesoko with access to free bikes, a garden, as well as a shared kitchen. I stayed in a few hostels on Okinawa. This one is by far the best. It felt like you were visiting family. Everything was really perfect and you found peace. The hostel owners tried very hard to make you feel comfortable.

Best bed also for us. So comfortable!

Offering city views, Guesthome Machiya Koza is an accommodation set in Okinawa City, 8.2 km from Nakagusuku Castle and 8.6 km from Katsuren Castle. The owner was exceptionally nice! She helped me with the nav system in my car and was always around to answer questions!

Featuring a garden, terrace and views of garden, Guesthouse Koa is located in Miyako Island, less than 1 km from Sunayama Beach. The staff at Koa were incredibly friendly and helpful. The bathroom was spotless, and the bedroom was comfortable and inviting. Plus, the closest beach is just a short walk away and absolutely beautiful. If you're planning a trip to Miyakojima, I highly recommend staying at Koa.

Featuring a patio with mountain views, free bikes and a garden, Stäy Hotel can be found in Nago, close to Sumuide Beach and 1.2 km from Airakuen Beach. The location, the back of the hotel has access directly to beach (although it’s not a clean walk-way, once in the beach what the sand that water touches is super clean +2-4meters) Really such an amazing place to wake up too! Finding food nearby can be tricky in the winter months! Please be aware. There is a store nearby that closes by 8pm! Stock up on basics Nearby restaurant is literally one of the best in the area! No exaggeration, it is the restaurant the host recommended!
