As mentioned by other guests Yumiko is a lovely and kind host, her house has a homely feel with all the mod cons and her English is amazing. We really enjoyed our discussions about all things Japan and 'just life in general' while enjoying the warmth of the kotatsu. She gave us some great tips for our visit around Fuji-san and made reservations for us at a popular local restaurant, named Yabu (traditional Japanese food, a real crowd pleaser, don't miss it). Our stay at Link House is one to be repeated :-).

Set in Fujiyoshida, within 3.1 km of Fuji-Q Highland and 7.4 km of Lake Kawaguchi, OSHI-KIKUYABO Mt-Fuji Historic Inn offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking... This place is an experience! Old place with plenty of history, situated very centrally on the main road of Fujiyoshida. We were told that, Mt. Fuji is even visible from the common room in clear weather. The shared toilet is very nice. The shared bathroom looked nice, which even had a small board tl reserve a timeslot. You book this place to experience a real old japanese house. Highly recommended!

Guest House Zen is a beachfront property situated in Yamanakako, 18 km from Fuji-Q Highland and 21 km from Lake Kawaguchi. The setting of the place was remarkable, situated right across from Mt Fuji. Fortunately, during my two-day stay, the weather was clear, allowing for unobstructed views of the mountain. The room, ideally sized for a couple, featured a wardrobe for storing our luggage. The pillows were exceptionally comfortable, and the room maintained a cozy warmth, thanks to the air conditioners and bed warmers.

Offering a shared lounge and mountain view, Guest House 合歓木（ねむ） is set in Hokuto, 41 km from Canora Hall and 34 km from Kamisuwa Station. Beautiful peaceful guesthouse with everything you may need. The owner is a lovely lady who was incredibly helpful.

Offering free bikes and mountain view, Southern Alps Kaikomagatake Foot of the Kaikoma is set in Hokuto, 43 km from Canora Hall and 36 km from Kamisuwa Station. The owner is really kind and offered to pick me up and drop me off at the station, which made getting to the guesthouse much easier. There were food and drinks in the fridge when I arrived which was a great touch! It is a lovely location in the countryside and there is plenty of nature to explore. There are a few resturants, coffee shops and convience stores in the area which walking/biking distance. Would highly recommend!

Renovated in September 2018, Guesthouseほのぼの offers an accommodation with free WiFi in Fujikawaguchiko, 1.3 km from Lake Kawaguchi. Very friendly owner, he was even pick and drop us to the train station, gave us lots of tips and instructions about area need to go. Very flexible person. The property is okay, value for the money, simple guest house, and free hot beverages. Point is we love the host hospitality. Superb!

Open from July 2017, Guesthouse Murabito is nestled just a 2-minute stroll away from Lake Yamanaka. A cosy place to stay. Felt like home to me. I travelled from Yokohama and the highway bus stopped right next to this guesthouse. Highway bus to Tokyo also stops at the same bus stop and that is very convenient. Their bike rental rate is one of the cheapest too! Thank you so much Marino and Kei for the hospitality💕 I would definitely be back in the future to hike up the trails around Yamanakako 🗻
