Ended up extending my stay with two more nights here as I enjoyed my stay. The room was spacious, very clean and just great quality to the last detail. I needed to work during the days, and couldn’t imagine a better spot to do so, AC worked perfectly, the room had a huge window, I could just sit beside it looking out, and just in front, a tree gave enough cover for privacy. Location is central, just next to the main road but hidden in a side street making it quiet. A few local restaurants are in the area and a Food city is also close by. The owner was very nice, made sure I had everything I needed.

The Dream Inn Guesthouse Passikudah has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Batticaloa, 200 metres from Pasikuda Beach. Great welcome and hospitality from Ashok. Dinner cooked on-site was fantastic and excellent breakfast. Location is in a quiet area, near to the sea. Two minutes walk to Passikudah beach and five minutes to Kalkudah beach.

Featuring garden views, Neem Forest Guest House & Yoga Meditation Centre provides accommodation with balcony, around less than 1 km from Kallady Beach. We had a wonderful experience at this rest house. The owner personally picked up our family, ensuring a safe journey to the place located near the beach. The atmosphere is unique, making it one of the best and safest spots for family time. Rooms are spacious and clean. The highlight was the chance to savor delicious traditional food—an unforgettable experience!

Located within less than 1 km of Dutch Fort Batticaloa and a 19-minute walk of Batticaloa Railway Station, Sri Construction Circuit Bungalow features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom... It was a quick stay but the host ensured I had everything I needed from the moment I arrived. The room was very large with lots of areas to sit and or set your personal items on which was appreciated. I had a spacious kitchen to cook if I preferred (grocery store right down the street). The bathroom was on the smaller side but had everything you’d need.

Situated within 50 metres of Kalkudah Beach and less than 1 km of Pasikuda Beach, Hotel krish features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kalkudah. Krish’ place is perfect. Spacious bedroom & bathroom, immaculately clean. AC & fan are both available so you can choose. Location is perfect situated between Kalkudah & Pasikuda Beach. You can use the local hotel for a small charge (Laya $3 Uga $8). Krish and her staff are very kind & welcoming. Krish really is an incredible woman, goes above and beyond for her guests. We had a meal across the road that did not satisfy & after reading reviews about Krish’ food (request in advance) we had an exceptional meal of prawns, rice and curry. Thank you so much Krish, it was a pleasure meeting you. 2 nights wasn’t enough. Expect a quiet area with no WiFi, clean, comfortable and spacious- you will not be disappointed! Sri Lankan breakfast was also superb.

Set within 1.7 km of Pasikuda Beach and 2.8 km of Kalkudah Beach, Aiden Homestay offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Pasikuda. The room was fantastic. It was comfortable with good AC. The family that runs the place was lovely. They can provide rental bikes and scooters if you need them. Thank you!

Juda Holiday Villa, a property with a garden, is situated in Batticaloa, 200 metres from Kallady Beach, 2.3 km from Batticaloa Railway Station, as well as 3.5 km from Dutch Fort Batticaloa. Juda is very welcoming and friendly! Loved staying here. He provided a delicious breakfast upon request and arranged a bicycle for me to ride around the city, all at an affordable price. Has great recommendations for food and things to do around town. Accommodations are neat and quiet. Great place to stay in Batticaloa! Walking distance to the beach and biking distance to the town.

Located within 400 metres of Kalkudah Beach and 400 metres of Pasikuda Beach in Pasikuda, Inn On The Bay provides accommodation with seating area. Lovely staff, big, nice and clean rooms. Great location, delicious food. I strongly recommend.

Situated in Batticaloa, this holiday home features a terrace and a garden with a barbecue and a terrace. The holiday home is composed of 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, fitted with a bath or shower. The garden is beautiful and lovely with a lot of places to sit and hang and escape the heat. One minute walking distance to the beach. The owner is so sweet and helpful and even provided a very cheap breakfast even though it wasn’t originally a possibility. The location is a bit away from the bustling city, giving a much more tranquil experience. There are a few restaurants a kilometer away and the possibility for (cheap) take-away.
