A place where you can dive into an atmosphere of family with deep conversations during the meal or tea. About the house: there's a safe place to park a bike. A terrace and a rooftop (!) to enjoy the sunsets or city views or to sit alone and read a book. By the way, there's a decent library of English books in the house! About the room: it was the biggest bed I've ever seen. Not a king-size, a sheikh-size 😅 AC and everything was great. Breakfast was included, and you may ask for a dinner as well, and for the reasonable price landlady will cook it for you. National cuisine, very tasty! This is an exceptional place to stay. Beautifully furnished, immaculately clean, wonderful staff and amazing food. I cannot recommend Villa Saltasia highly enough. Best place we stayed in Sri Lanka.

It is clean, quiet and beautiful. The polite and kind administrator helped a lot and left a very pleasant impression. We liked Sayura House so much that decided to stop here again on our way back :)

My husband and I loved the owners of the hotel. They greeted us with a cool cloth and a delicious cool drink. The room was very big with a balcony and the bathroom was superbly clean. We asked for lunch and breakfast and was so very happy with the quality of the food and the exceptional way it was cooked.
