As part of the plantation Sarath and his family are growing their own coffee and spices from which Sarath's wife cooked a most delicious breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed our stay at Plantation Retreat very much and will never forget the welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. We can very much recommend a stay here.

Overlooking stunning nature views, Strathisla Guest House features an outdoor swimming pool and barbeque facilities. Guests can also enjoy free Wi-Fi access at all areas of the property. We loved to stay at the strathisla guesthouse. The view is amazing, the garden with the pool perfect, the staff really friendly and welcoming. We appreciated the tasty food. The house is located within working distance to the very busy town, but in the very quiet area, so we had a very good sleep 😁 If you are looking to visit Matale and looking to stay near by highly recommend to stay at this property 👍 This was a first time we saw the monkeys 🤣🤣

I booked the hotel for them and we traveled by car. So there was enough space for vehicles. You will get many facilities during your stay. Staff is 100% polite. Kitchen and equipment provided even they have a full board menu. Room was clean and equipped with everything we wanted. Night ambiance is awesome and the best of the best is the amazing pool. We stayed at the pool until 11 PM night since we couldn't leave the pool that was cool. Pool lights , clean water and the pool is covered from the garden fence so privacy around pool was enough for the girls. The person who catered us was very polite and very supportive. Even provided a mobile phone to contact room service.

Well get there by accident because of car trouble. It was great. Best food i had in hotels in sri lanka. They make for you especially. We had rice and curry for dinner was amazing. And breakfast was western with salad like we asked. They have an organic farm so everything was super fresh and tasty. My parents even got some pork sausages from their pig farm. The rooms were spacious and verry hot water in the shower. The pool is great with amazing views the staff is very nice and cater to your every need. Highly recomended.
