The location is beautiful, the hotel is new, clean and modern, yet relates to the scenery out side-you are practically in the woods. Tony the manager, the one most generous caring person, has done everything to make us feel comfortable.

Featuring lake views, Eagle View villa offers accommodation with balcony, around 18 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Amazing room with beautiful view from the balcony, very attentive staff, and lovely breakfast. Only two rooms here so it feels very private. Laundry service was useful. Clean spacious room. No AC but the fans worked well. 20-30 minute drive to Ella, worked well for us as we had our own tuktuk.

Holly House Homestay, a property with a garden, is located in Ella, 48 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden, 49 km from Horton Plains National Park, as well as 500 metres from Ella Spice Garden. Located in a quite area but the ella center is still in a max of 5min walking. Room is very clean, good equipped and the wifi was very good. The owners were very friendly.

Set just 42 km from Gregory Lake, leisure Mount View features accommodation in Haputale with access to free bikes, a garden, as well as a shared kitchen. We loved our stay at Leisure Mount View. We booked 3 nights but stayed 4 as there was so much to do in the area and the hotel was fabulous. THE FOOD: We ate 3 dinners and 4 breakfasts at the hotel. The buffet dinner was delicious and offered more choice than anywhere else we've been in Sri Lanka. We also ordered from the menu one evening and the chicken biriyani was our favourite! The breakfast buffet was huge. On order were hoppers, toast with butter and jam, dahl, various sweet cakes, coconut string hoppers, as well as a lovely selection of fruit, fresh juices and tea/coffee. We were also offered eggs cooked however we liked. THE VIEW: Our big bedroom overlooked the incredible view of tea plantation fields and mountains. Each morning we opened the curtains and watched the sunrise. Beautiful. THE HOSPITALITY: Hashan and his team couldn't have done more for us. A printed folder, which included various local activities, including hikes, attractions (e.g Lipton Seat), massages, and a cooking class, was available at the reception to help plan our itinerary. We did the cooking class with Hashan's aunty and we loved it. We also enjoyed our chats with Hashan who shared lots of information about Sri Lankan life, culture and food. We were made to feel like we were more like old friends and not hotel guests.

Located in Ella, 4.4 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge and 48 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden, Eminence ella provides spacious air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. This hotel is one of the best things in my Sri Lanka trip. The room is extremely clean and well equipped and also so nicely decorated. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I felt very welcomed. Especially the owner of the hotel, Aku and Isuru helped me every thing I needed during my stay. They gave me great advice about the trip in Ella and Nuwala Eliya. They even helped me to get the train ticket for Nuwala Eliya and thanks to Isuru’s advice I had the greatest view from the train. Plus, Isuru loves Japanese anime and he knows a little Japanese. It was vey nice of him to great me in Japanese. I would definitely love to visit Ella and stay at their place again.

Avenra Cottage, a property with a garden and a terrace, is set in Ella, 1.5 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge, 49 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden, as well as 1.5 km from Little Adam's Peak. The host is very kind and helpful, the space outside and inside the room is excellent, the view is very good, the location is great, it is very clean, and the breakfast is wonderfull and delicious.

Situated 5.3 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge, New Farmers Paradise offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden and a shared lounge. The owners were fantastic hosts. Ari was so kind to guide us up the Mountain to Ella rock and took us on paths not mean get see. The Sri Lanka currys and breakfast were fantastic
