The staff was very helpful and friendly, he arranged a safari with a very nice driver who paid so much attention in wildlife welfare. He also arranged our transfer from Mirissa and then to yala, the driver was friendly and was a pleasure to talk to him. We had a wonderful dinner and also a super Ayurvedic massage near the accommodation!!

It was really nice place to stay before safari. Room and bathroom are clean and spacious, staff is helpful and friendly. But the most what we liked is safari offered by the host. Dont even look for another offers. Firstly offer from share Safari Lodge. is cheaper and secondly we had absolutely stunning guide! the guide is the most important on safari and we are very grateful for this.

Located in Udawalawe, 10 km from Udawalawe National Park, Forest Edge Safari Villa provides air-conditioned rooms and a garden. This is a hidden gem in the area. We travelled from Canada and decided to go by what other travellers had said and glad we stayed here. The staff found out it was our anniversary and went out of their way to decorate our room - a lovely touch. The place is clean, the room was pristine, the breakfast is good and the staff are excellent. The hotel has its own safari jeep and we organized everything with them, it was probably the best thing we did. We’d go back.

Located 12 km from Udawalawe National Park, Mango Tree House provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. A continental breakfast is available daily at the guesthouse. Loved it all! One of the best acommodations on my trip to Sri Lanka. The location itself is great - not far away from the village center, but still in nice, quiet local road where you can meet lots of friendly local people. The garden in Mango tree house is very beautiful and very well kept! The cottages are super clean, very spacious and beautiful. Loved the waterfall shower in bathroom! The owner family is very friendly and welcoming. You can feel very relaxed there as they help in everything needed. I got my rides organized by the owners which saved my time a lot. Also their dinner was great, one of the best local meals I’ve had in Sri Lanka. Even if they dont have pool, there is one at really near by hotel that the owner directed me to enjoy refreshing swim on a hot day. You only pay small fee to enter the pool. I would definitely stay here again!

They also arranged taxis for us to travel to our next stop and the safari was amazing.

Set within 8 km of Udawalawe National Park, The Elephant Next-Door in Udawalawe features a number of amenities including a garden. Very cute place with only two rooms, but plans to expand. The owner is extremely attentive and does his best to please you. The rooms are rustic chic.
