Everything was just perfect: the mattresses were super comfy, the AC worked properly, the shower was great, etc. But the main thing was the stuff and the food they cooked. I hadn't expected that I'd have one of the best dinners in five months in a place I had never heard of. Just spectacular!

I spend here 4 days and I wanted more. During my solo travel at the Christmas time. I was glad to share this moments with them. They are very helpful. And if you always dream to live in a tree house it’s a perfect place! Peaceful full of nature and really cozy.

The property is lovely, the food is delicious and Sanjiva is very hospitable and helpful. Highly recomended.

Offering a restaurant, Isuru homestay Tissa is located just a 30 minutes to the Yala National Park and 1.3 km from the Tissamaharama Bus Station. Free WiFi access is available in the public areas of this homestay. This is a wooden house at the bottom of the garden overlooking open fields. It's a lovely setting. We loved the room, but be aware being wooden it is rustic and sound travels. But still very charming and we loved it. The host was lovely and arranged an amazing safari at a very competitive price. ( Go for the whole day not half day...it's far better value and you see a lot more...it was only in the last ten minutes we saw a leopard, which came and laid down in front of our jeep) Breakfast was fantastic and far more than we could actually eat. Aircon works a treat.
