Located within less than 1 km of Tissa Wewa and 25 km of Bundala Bird Sanctuary in Tissamaharama, Tissa Rainbow Guest & Yala provides accommodation with seating area. I really loved the location in nature, the house was full of plants which made me feel like in a fairytale. The owner and his brother are just the kindest people ever. They were so helpful and nice, they even picked me up and dropped me at the bus stop.

Boasting river views, Riverview Cabana Tissamaharama features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 4.5 km from Tissa Wewa. It was by far the best accommodation on our entire trip to Sri Lanka. The room, bathroom and balcony were huge and super clean. The air conditioning kept the room nice and cool. It is very nice and quiet. The safari was super organized with breakfast and drinks. But the best thing about the accommodation is definitely Mithila we have rarely met such a kind and gorgeous person. She really organizes everything and has an open ear for all our wishes. Takes care of the food order, safari, enough water and even the laundry. We had a lot of problems with our arrival due to New Year and she supported us the whole time. Many thanks again to you! We had such a great time with you ♥️

Offering a garden and lake view, Blue Sky Hotel Yala is located in Yala, 3 km from Tissa Wewa and 28 km from Bundala Bird Sanctuary. Great host, peaceful location. Close to restaurants. Host was extremely helpful and thoughtful. Breakfast was delicious and we were able to get a breakfast to take on our safari.

Mailagama Cinnamon Residence features free WiFi and views of mountain in Sellakataragama. Featuring a concierge service, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Small boutique hotel surrounded by paddy fields, other plantations and lovely garden. Very nice ambience to relax. The Staff was exceptional, very attentive and hospitable. Staff cooked very tasty authentic Sri Lankan meals. The internet worked great. A great experience overall. Will definitely visit again.

Located just 2.5 km from Tissa Wewa, Blue Birds Tissa & Yala safari provides accommodation in Tissamaharama with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a 24-hour front desk. The guesthouse was very clean and the room had the air conditioner. The owner was incredibly nice with us, when we arrived it was very hot and he gave us a delicious king coconut to drink. He brang us to have a bird watching at the evening in a beautiful area and he arranged for us the safari in Yala the next day. I highly recommend this place!

Boasting lake views, Lake Face Cabana offers accommodation with balcony, around 4.5 km from Tissa Wewa. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. We loved this place, we were greeted with beautiful smiles from all in this little family. This is a very basic family run hotel, but it is placed right at the lakeside, you can watch birds from your veranda, and you will wake up to the sounds of nature in the early morning at sunrise. The food was tasty and gorgeous, and the little restaurant has only 2 tables, but the setting is shady and very beatiful. We had a whole day safari in Yala, the drivning was rough at times, but we saw very many animals including bear and leopard, and it was well worth the money. The tree house at the lakeside is a perfect location, and we hope to come back here again. Highly recommended!!!

Offering a restaurant and free bikes, MOON LIGHT Guest House is located just 1.1 km from the Tissamaharama Bus Station and 3.2 km from the beautiful Tissa Lake. the hotel was situated on a beautiful rice terrace. the room was very big and clean! the breakfast was outstanding (best that we had in Sri Lanka so far). The family running the place are simply the kindest you can find! they will help you with anything you need.
