We took a morning stroll in the garden, then enjoyed our breakfast by the river; the host Ijat saw to all our needs, from arranging rain forest activities, sending us there and picking us up , many times, to laundry, to little chats…adding comfort to every aspects of our stay. Set in Kuala Tahan in the Pahang region, Durian Chalet has a balcony. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Durian Chalet felt like home. The staff were very kind and helpful, the rooms were clean, big, beautifully placed in the big property. I loved that my chalet was in front of a large patch of pandan, and it smelt wonderful. The chalet is located away from the main town square and that made it much quieter-something that I really wanted. Overall, I will definitely be coming back and staying here.

I came for a couple of days, and in the end extended my stay for a whole week. Very good location, close to restaurants and the jetty. The room is simple but very cozy. Bed is super comfortable. I felt safe with a huge net above it. Rooms have little balconys with a nice view. The owners are super helpful and friendly.
