Everything was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There is even a cute little chicken that sometimes pays a visit. Max and his wife Martha were so kind and friendly, we loved staying with them. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in Rivas. Perfect resting place while on your way to other places.

We were looking for a natural, simple and above all true place. Here we found it, Jose' the owner, a wonderful person. Priceless view of the volcano. We absolutely recommend it!!!

Ananda Guest house is located on the slopes of the Maderas Volcano on Ometepe Island, 19 mi from the port of Moyogalpa. we absolutely loved our time at Ananda guesthouse. Our room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The shower was divine. The shared kitchen facilities were great and the views from the lawn area are wonderful. Would definitely recommend staying here if you stay on Balgue.

We had the option to upgrade to air conditioning for an extra $10/night. It was hot, so we took it. The staff connected us to reasonably-priced & trustworthy scooter rentals, so that was a real bonus. They also prepared a breakfast for us at short-notice when we realized we wanted to catch a ferry at a certain time, so that was appreciated. Other reviews mention "sketchy characters" around, but nobody bothered us out on the streets at all. Definitely recommended!

Louis, Nick, and the team are friendly and extremely responsive. This is a special place to return to after a day of adventure in San Juan. It is also an incredible value.
