Property is very clean and spacious , hosts are very friendly, I like the room decor. Also very easy to park. Close to the port and giant’s chair.

Felt Hospitality came natural to them. Marie got up early to prepare and served breakfast, just like any good Host would do for their travel weary guests at their home. The couple themselves have been world travelers and I saw they took pains to equip their home to give a 'Feel at home' feeling for their guests. They spent time guiding us what to see around and best places to eat. Saved us time to immerse ourselves find what's near us and choose the ones with best reviews. They knew the local history and were more than happy to share with us. Their location was the cherry on the pie. Top of the hill and the scenery around them. Truly a room with a view.

Situated just 11 km from Pania of the Reef Statue, Modern Studio near Clive River offers accommodation in Clive with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as private check-in and check-out. We liked everything about the studio 😊 It was obvious that the hosts put a lot of thought in building, furnishing, equipping and decorating of the place and thought of all the small details, including a helpful welcome book. The whole place is new and super clean. It’s also really nice to have a garden and terrace. The location is great, you can start for a walk from the garden and explore the river and beach or drive to one of the nearby wineries or go for a hike at Te Mata Peak. The hosts are nice and helpful. Internet is good, TV has Netflix etc, and there is even a washing machine. This has definitely been the nicest stay in NZ within that price range and we would happily come back anytime!

Located in Hastings, the recently renovated Magnolia Studio provides accommodation 20 km from McLean Park and 2.4 km from Splash Planet. Awesome place to stay! Kelly is a fantastic host and her little pug Hugo is adorable. Would highly recommend. 10/10

Located 22 km from McLean Park, Guest House on Guthrie provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Host was very quick to respond and very helpful.

Offering a garden and river view, River View Cottage is located in Kahuranaki, 36 km from Pania of the Reef Statue and 38 km from Bluff Hill Lookout. This was the nicest place I stayed in while in New Zealand.The views of the mountains were stunningly beautiful. The house itself was beautiful both inside and out. Everything was comfortable, every little detail was tasteful. I would have liked to stay here longer. Thanks to the family for allowing us to be there. It's close to Craggy Range Wineyard and high quality restaurant.

Located in Havelock North, in a historic building, 21 km from McLean Park, Te Mata House is a guest house with pool with a view and fitness centre. Really well equipped for families. We have two young boys (1 and 3 years old) and they absolutely loved it.
