We liked everything about the studio 😊 It was obvious that the hosts put a lot of thought in building, furnishing, equipping and decorating of the place and thought of all the small details, including a helpful welcome book. The whole place is new and super clean. It’s also really nice to have a garden and terrace. The location is great, you can start for a walk from the garden and explore the river and beach or drive to one of the nearby wineries or go for a hike at Te Mata Peak. The hosts are nice and helpful. Internet is good, TV has Netflix etc, and there is even a washing machine. This has definitely been the nicest stay in NZ within that price range and we would happily come back anytime!

The carpet felt so new and it really felt like being home. Loved the place and I will definitely be back. I also took advantage of the fact that the owner has a salon next door and offers a discount to guests so it’s really convenient!

The kitchen is fully kitted out with quality appliances, so it's a good spot for those interested in cooking and taking care of their own catering. The hosts are warm and generous. I'm looking forward to a return visit.
