We enjoyed the quiet countryside where Quinta de Vale Escuro is located and the beautiful property. We also enjoyed the swimming pool each afternoon. Our hosts were very accommodating, despite our language challenges. Thank goodness for Google Translate! One last note - our previous accommodation was canceled by the host due to illness, and this booking was accepted with only one hour notice. We are very grateful for that!

It's a beautiful carefully designed property as a whole - the house, interior, the patio and the garden alltogether make a mavelous composition. The hosts are superfriendly and helpful. Breakfast is simple and tasty, local products are offered. The jams were especially delicious. Entrance to the yard and parking is easy and convenient. The yard is locked, so it is very safe place. The rooms are clean and well equipped.

You have everything you need in the room, and everything is well organised and super clean. We didn't want to leave (: Beautiful place, and very good breakfast 😊

We liked it very much. Wendy and her husband are very kind and nice people. The swimming pool is awesome and the room is very comfortable.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Chez Louise: onde a Serra beija o Céu is set in Lousã. The apartment was spacious and very well appointed. Luisa was able to accommodate my unpredictable arrival time (plane, trains etc!) and was a very helpful host. I was only sad that I did not have the time to use the delightful shaded balcony with its comfy seats etc.
