Situated in Provesende and only 12 km from Natur Waterpark, Quinta Pedreira dos Anjos features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. WOW!!! The views from the room and vinyards are incredible. It felt unreal. The hosts are just the nicest people and very kind, and despite the fact that they almost only speak portuguese, we were able to communicate. Homemade breakfast on the balcony with beautiful views was way above expectation. We had the chance to do wine/porto tasting, and had complimentary wine/porto/fruits from the place itself during the stay. Our family just loved the experience. Best rental experience ever! Highly recommend!!!

A recently renovated homestay in Peso da Régua and within 1.4 km of Douro Museum, Casa Vila Rosa features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, comfortable allergy-free rooms and free WiFi. Beautiful, quiet, clean room with self serve port, coffee and tea available. Easily walkable to the river, restaurants, shopping. Street parking was no problem.

Featuring a garden and views of city, Casa do Hospital-Guest House is a homestay situated in a historic building in Abaças, 7.3 km from Natur Waterpark. EVERYTHING! Carlos and Paula made us feel at home and we had the best night so far in that cute place with a lot of history and charme! We had a wonderful and very fresh breakfast prepared for us in the morning, wonderful conversations with the other guests ( just 4 rooms overall) and loved the dog!

Beautifully renovated house in the center of Vidago within walking distance from a fountain where locals (and tourists) get fresh water. Leonardo, the host, was a very kind and considerate host, making sure that we-including our dog- were comfortable in our spacious and stylish room. Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Douro D'Heart - Regua Guesthouse - Casa Completa is located in Peso da Régua. We felt like royalty… the house and service was exceptional!

Situated in Alijó, 16 km from Pinhão, Quinta do Sol features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi. Lovely owner, interesting history of the house, delicious breakfast and stunning views! It was also very cute to get your own slippers and bathrobe. 😍 The smell in the room was also amazing and it was a big pleasure to stay there and feel like home.

Located in Vilarinho da Castanheira, 46 km from Vila Real, Casa Dona Urraca boasts a seasonal outdoor pool and views of the mountain. Rooms are spread between 2 houses. The place is a thirteenth century farm house, renovated, super charming, and located in a very quiet small village. The owners are awesome and hospitable. They welcomed us with a beautiful bottle of Porto and cookies on a tray with starched linen. Our room was neat, clean, spacious, and we had a view of the mountains. Breakfast was delicious: it included a wide variety of foods such as breads, yogurt, cut-up fruit, ham, and cheese all served on elegant linen and dishes. They shared fresh cherries, strawberries, and herbs from their garden with us. Adelina, her niece, and sister-in-law went out of their way to make us feel at home, and to accommodate our dietary constraints (no lactose). We look forward to coming back to this piece of paradise in the near future.
