Location is great, really close to the beach. Super nice host who was really helpfull as we had a health problem.

Situated just 12 km from Lava Tree State Monument, Big Island Getaway provides accommodation in Pahoa with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as bicycle parking. Chris and fur-baby Roxy are excellent hosts, and the ohana was perfect for my husband and my two-night stay. It is centrally located in Pahoa town, making it convenient to run errands either to the village center or to Hilo town. The home is a shared accommodation, which was a first for us. There was another couple staying for one night, and they were very nice and kept to themselves. Chris is very personable and easy to be around, whether you want to hang out and chat, or just chill by yourself and read. Roxy is a beautiful, well-behaved Carolina dog, and for us, a joy to have around.

Very chill atmosphere, lots of little touches that made the stay very nice. My wife loved having a yoga mat available in the morning. Easy to reach from the airport. Loved the little private balcony with the hammock.

Located in Honokaa and only 46 km from Hapuna Golf Course, Private Ohana on the lush Hamakua coast with AC provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Everything was great. Well maintained, clean and an excellent location to explore the north side of the island from. The hosts are friendly and have things nicely arranged and extra items for use such as folding chairs for outdoors, a beach umbrella and a small cooler. If we come back to the big island any time in the future we’d definitely stay here again.

Set in Pahoa and only 34 km from Lava Tree State Monument, Off-Grid Getaway with Ocean Views in Paradise offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The porch and view are amazing. The big double doors that open from the living area were wonderful. There were toys and games for the kids. I would recommend this stay to anyone, especially families.

Boasting a spa bath, GUEST HOUSE IN HILO is set in Hilo. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. There was no breakfast. I loved the hospitality, and the value and price is great for families. I felt at home and will be going back. My friends and family was very happy and they all said, "I would stay here too and recommend this place to their friends and family.
