We stayed in the Lake View room and it was lovely, especially seeing the daily lives of those living around the lake. The room was clean and comfortable. Laundry services were available and the host did an amazing job with our clothes. The homestay is within walking distance to the Imperial City as well as a local market. Great food options in the area. Some of the best spots were in hidden alleys. The homestay is also near a great corner cafe, tasty bánh mì, and an excellent barber. The host for this homestay was so incredibly sweet! It was a joy to interact with her and her visitors. Yes, there is a language barrier, but I'm not sure where most of the reviewers think they are traveling to. You'd think they were going to the UK or Canada with how much English they expect everyone to speak. Folks, you're in Vietnam and there are plenty of translation apps!

Set within 500 metres of Museum of Royal Antiquities and 1.1 km of Dong Ba Market, Chi's Homestay & Coffee offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Hue. Really nice and helpfull people. They waited for us when our train was delayed by 2 hours and we were late for check in

1.3 km from Trang Tien Bridge, Full House Homestay is a recently renovated property situated in Hue and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The family was super sweet. My girlfriend was ill and they gave her some medicated oil and rice soup. We also got a free room upgrade and they helped us out with administrational stuff. Also the room was very clean. Great stay! Boasting an outdoor swimming pool, garden and views of pool, The Dreamers Homestay is located in Hue, 2.7 km from Trang Tien Bridge. Staff at the property were super helpful couldn’t have done anymore if they tried. Room was a delight and the pool was stunning. It was a bit out of town he me and my partner enjoyed the separation from the noise and traffic.

Located within 1.3 km of Trang Tien Bridge and 3 km of Dong Ba Market, HOUSE OF LÝ provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Hue. I would rate this accommodation a 20/10 if I could 🙂. Not b/c of the beautiful and very spacious room, not b/c of the cute balcony, not b/c of the great location but b/c mrs Ly is such an amazing and wonderful host. One time she welcomed me with a selfmade delicious juice, the other time with dragon fruit. When I asked how to get around Hue to see the waterpark, tombs and pagodes she set me up with a fantastic motor driver who showed me around. I couldn’t recommend this accommodation any higher 😆
