Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

I can only say good things about this beautiful hostel. If you have a chance to stay, you must. Great location, the kindest of kind family, who offered breakfast even though I arrived and checked in early. Awesome spaces to hang out, nice kitchen.

Great location just a few meters from the main square Luis de Fuentes and la Casa Dorada. Quite comfy and very neat rooms with lovely antique furniture. Friendly staff and good services. The owners are quite helpful providing info about tours in Tarija. The ice cream shop is probably the best in the city. The Casona Gloria has an added historic value being the place where the great poet Roberto Echazú was born.

Lovely kind host - really made our stay special and comfortable, quick to assist with all sorts of things like onward tickets, taxis, comfort, extended check out as we were getting a night bus. Namaste hostel was sparkling clean, best bed so far in S America and great location 2 blocks from main square. Highly recommended. Oh and an amazing, generous breakfast too.

Great location and very friendly staff. I was allowed to enter the hostel early in the morning and stay in the common room as my night bus arrived around 5am from Sucre. They also helped me book a taxi to Parada del Norte when I was checking out on Sunday. There's also a plug socket and a light beside each bed which was handy.

The staff and the owner were exceptionally nice and attentive, we felt very welcomed. The dormitory had lots of storage room, but no lockers. The kitchen is very well equipped. We asked for vegan options for breakfast and got lots of fruits - nothing special, but enough :) The night we stayed there was a holiday related event organized by the hostel where we participated: Everyone brought some food and we had a meal together.

The best hostel in whole Latin America. The staff are supernice and they make you feel welcomed from the first moment. The facilities are beautiful. The hostel as an indoor garden with beautiful plants. It is also open 24/7 so you can arrive and go when you want. They clean the hostel everyday!!
