I was arriving late at night after check-in was closed. I contacted the hostel 2 days before to explain this. They sent a video showing my room and bed and provided me with an App that would allow me to access the hostel front door. Yuri and the team were warm and friendly and despite my lack of Portuguese were always happy to help. This would be my first choice if I was to stay in Belém again.

The location is ideal in a beautiful area. The building is magnificent in an old style with parquet floors. The rooms have air conditioning at the right temperature. The beds are comfortable. The rooms and bathroom are clean. And the staff is super friendly. I had asked a woman at reception to make a call for me in Portuguese as I don't speak the language and she was very helpful.
