Located in Cumuruxatiba, within less than 1 km of Cumuruxatiba Beach and 2.6 km of Rio do Peixe Grande Beach, O Caramuru Hostel - Cumuruxatiba provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking for guests who drive. The hostel features family rooms.

An incredible beautiful place, with a spacious tree-filled garden and verandas situated 5+ miutes up a hill (with a nice viewpoint half-way up/down) above main road and beachfront. The buildings and rooms look new/refurbished, the whole design and layout of the place is just great and imho very tasteful. Everything is super clean and comfortable, they have a well-equipped kitchen, and as others have pointed out, a fresh and diverse breakfast that is just excellent (certainly the best I've ever had in a hostel setting). The owners and volunteers there are the loveliest people, I really enjoyed staying with them and felt at home there. So, I really cannot recommend this place enough!

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.

I loved the privacy you have in the dorm bed! I call it the cocoon ! The breakfast is huge and cooked fresh every morning, a big help to start off the day. The property is ideal for bird watching, and the location is great. The owners are extremely helpful with info and tips of what to do in the area. I strongly recommend O Caramuru Hostel, rain or shine 😜
