Great location - 3 minute walk from bus stop, bakery and supermarket on the same road, close to historic town. Friendly staff and Henrique was very helpful speaking English. Very clean and comfortable (including bathrooms) - 14 bed dorm was spacious and had AC. Lockers provided. Living room with sofas and balcony with hammock. Good wifi and plug areas. Kitchen basic but functional. Absolutely no complaints - we had a lovely stay :)

The location is perfect! It is on the main restaurant street, but just enough away to avoid any noise. It is also halfway between the beach and the pier for the must-do schooner trip. The owner is really the star of this place. He waited for us when we arrived on a late bus, then helped us with our bags up the steep stairs. He provided a lot of valuable information regarding the places that we planned to visit, and was constantly reminding us to take hats, sunblock, etc. And he even offered to help us with our laundry. The location is really convenient from the bus station, barely a couple of minutes, which is really good if you plan to take local buses to visit nearby areas. It's also right next to a huge supermarket, and just a couple of blocks from the main street, but quiet enough to sleep well. The room itself is simple, and it's what you see in the photos. We slept comfortably, and were well rested for each day's events. For the price, I think that good value was delivered, and the owner just made it absolutely excellent!
