This hostel is located in a 19th century heritage mansion, just 5 minutes’ walk from Hamilton city centre. It offers a fully equipped guest kitchen and free Wi-Fi in all dormitories and private rooms.

Bed linen, pillows and blankets are supplied in all air conditioned rooms at Pring Guesthouse. A locker room is accessible outside dormitories for guests to keep their valuables.

I loved this place, it is close to downtown and to several historic places in Hamilton. I also appreciate the outstanding attention and service of the staff at Pring Guesthouse. I 100% recommend it!

The friendly welcome, historic character and cleanliness of this hostel made it a wonderful stay. I loved the bonuses - like a plate of cookies in the common room plus free cereal and coffee for breakfast.

Great location, staff was helpful, decor was nice, I was glad to be able to check in early, nice that I could adjust the thermostat, the fridge was spacious, the building felt safe/secure, there were plenty of outlets and the lighting was good. It was essentially what I expected.

As a backpacker-style hostel, the historic house has been well adapted for it new purposes, with a pleasant sitting room and a modest but very functional outdoor patio. The place is very clean, and the kitchen is nicely organized and well equipped. The hosts are genial, accommodating, and appear to take great pride in their work as innkeepers. A very comfortable stay.

I stayed in the Women's Dorm. I had it to myself that weekend but there was plenty of space for 4. It had the nostalgic feeling of being at camp but with the Big Girls, lol! There is a communal kitchen, nice back patio and yard and the house is of beautiful 18th Century architecture. This is a guest house (or hostel) that caters to backpackers, so keep that in mind. This will be my go to place whenever I go to Hamilton.
