Staff are very friendly and helpful .Water was hot. Breakfast offerings were good (chocolate chip muffins, mmm), and use of the well equipped kitchen was an added bonus. Remember, this is a youth hostel and so is not a grand hotel. It is staffed by young people who we have always found to be very friendly ( and tolerant of my poor French). Our room, which had a double bed and a private bathroom, was clean and neat. The hostel is in the centre of town and close to the charming main street shopping district. There is a kitchen available if you want to cook something for yourself.
