Hostel Engelberg was a great place to stay with kids. Great breakfast, great restaurant downstairs, great view of the mountains when you can see them through the clouds. Could not be more central. The owners are so friendly you could not ask for a better stay. Price to value of Hostel Engelberg cannot be beat in Switzerland - at least the parts that I have seen.

The kitchen made it more comfortable for families traveling with children. Location is great, just next to the train station, but it was quiet enough in the room, not to hear any traffic at night.
