Carolina Hostal is wonderful. It felt more like a hotel experience. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the amenities of my room were great quality. Finally, the host was amazingly friendly.

The location is great. Close to the main attractions and roads, as well as having a supermarket a couple of minutes away to get all the basics. Money well spent if you are looking to save costs and not share a hostel. You do have to share the toilet, but it's with just one more room, which I find perfect. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. For example, we received a message asking us to confirm with a transfer to a local Chilean bank, which is common practice in Chile, but I didn't have time to make it, as we booked the same day. I immediately wrote to the hotel and requested to pay cash upon arrival, and they said it was okay without hesitation. Very accommodating. Finally, they provide free tea and coffee, towels, and soap, everything you need for a couple of days' escape in Viña del Mar.

The hostel is very nice and everything is in great condition and super clean! One of the cleanest hostel I’ve ever seen 😊. Big supermarket and small mini market right next to the hostel. The hostel is not in the city center of Valparaíso but it has a very good bus connection to the center and also to vina del mar (10min drive in each direction). Nice dorms with lot of space and privacy. The kitchen is very well equipped and clean. Beds are very comfy.

Very friendly staff, great vibe. Loved the room with the street view. The outside terrace is great and you can get a delicious coffee or breakfast served there from the accompanying foodtruck in front of the hostal.

This place just feels like home, also thanks to the volunteers, kind, sweet and helpful people. A beautiful villa with garden located in a calm and not-touristic hill, and it's really close to an elevator. You'll have a comfortable bed with plugs, shelfs and curtain, good wifi, a well equipped kitchen, hot shower, tv with netflix and a nice cat going around. And the view from the balconies in the dorms is just amazing!
