The rooms at the hostel come with a seating area. The rooms are equipped with a shared bathroom and a shower, and some units at DespertArte espacio de Arte y Hospedaje have a balcony. All guest rooms feature bed linen.

The hostel is located right on the beach, and had a great vibe from the start! We had some trouble locating it because it was dark and google maps wasn’t helpful. We were running late but the two sisters who own the house waited up for us and made us feel right at home. If you like falling asleep listening to the ocean, under a huge dream catcher this is the place for you! Breakfast is fresh, and the coffee delicious. The artisan shop is right there with lots of creative designs by the sisters. I even met their mother. Such a beautiful family stay.

La Cabaña Glamping Geronimo features a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Playa Blanca. Offering a casino, the property is located within a few steps of Playa Blanca. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a tour desk and free WiFi throughout the property.

At the hostel all rooms come with a private bathroom with a shower.

We had an amazing time in La Cabaña. The view from the glamping and the place itself is just unreal. The room is just perfect with a fan and an aircon. The staff made us feel really like at home and the food was exceptional, with fresh ingredients that were clearly sourced locally and hence, very natural. You have to try the piñacolada in La Cabaña as it is the best on the island. Mr Antonio is a gentleman, he collected us from the Cartagena airport and brought us to the island. It is indeed a different and wonderful experience when getting to the island. We came across great people from the island, from the staff in the hotel and the lovely people who sell stuff on the beach, unlike others complaining about these people "being annoying" we took the time to speak to them and know more about themselves. Our recommendation, be friendly and polite and if you don't want to buy anything just say "no, thank you very much" and they won't bother you. Remember that these people live from tourism and they are welcoming us to their place. It does make a difference in the time you pick to go. In our case, we went on a Monday and Tuesday (the 5th and 6th of June) there so it wasn't that crowded. What a place to stay! The island is just perfect. Highly recommended.

Super chill vibes. It's very basic - Power only at night, limited water but it is a little slice of paradise.

Set in Cartagena de Indias, a few steps from Playa Blanca, OasisBlueCartagena offers accommodation with a terrace, private parking and a bar. The accommodation provides room service, a 24-hour front desk and currency exchange for guests.

At the hostel, all rooms are equipped with a balcony with a sea view. At OasisBlueCartagena every room includes a private bathroom and bed linen.

Location location location! The rooms are set back further than some of the other hostels so you don’t get bugged as much from the vendors. My favorite spot was spending hours sitting on the terrace. Oh also a freshwater shower on the beach = AMAZING!

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Great location and the staff are so lovely and helpful. Pizzas were lovely but dinner was not so much. And spent only one night and think it’s a great value for money.

Very friendly and attentive staff. They organize everything you need. The hostel is an outdoor eco accommodation with cabins. Open air reception, bar, kitchen wich is very charming. Lots of hammocks around to relax. Good wifi at the reception as well as a charging station. The food was good and the price decent. Just a few minutes walk from playa Libre. Great place to absolutely relax and escape from the busy world

Located on a private beach area; quieter than most hostels. Meal options quite good. Clean establishment with friendly, available staff. Our room faced the beach, which was nice, and did not require airconditioning because of the sea breeze. Outdoor seating/lounging was pleasant.

Great location in quiet part of Playa Blanca (the rest of the beach is incredibly busy), run by two sisters. Yes it is basic, yes you have a cold shower, yes you share the bathroom but you cannot beat the location.

listen if you want a no-frills chilled double room on the beach for a very cheap price this is the place but don’t expect anything fancy… at all. the owner/security guard is really nice and may well be the best thing about the property. but it’s in a great location right on the beach and personally I just needed a place to get away and be by myself so it was fine…
