We got moved next door to a different hostal. Very nice. I loved the tropical gardens in the entry and back sitting area ! there are two nice sitting areas. Bathrooms are great. Bunk beds are excellent - they have outlets and curtains for privacy and love the wood floors. Very clean

Easy and cheap to get bus into San Jose and they will arrange shuttle to airport etc. very helpful and quick to reply. Lots of good restaurants, ice cream parlours and bars close by.

The host gives you free pick up and drop off to the airport. I was travelling alone and Alonso made sure that I am comfortable and safe. He showed me and accompanied me to the best places you can visit in the country. I felt safe and secured, Alonso was so fun to be with. He is an ALL in 1 host, just let him know what you need and he'll provide it for you! Gracias Alonso! 🙂

The host is super nice and welcoming, she cooks delicious homemade breakfast, everything is super clean and confortable, and this place is in the centre of the city and 10 min away from the airport with a taxi ! For trips and visits to the nearby national parks you can always contact them and you will be warmly welcomed. I enjoyed the family atmosphere and can highly recommend a stay to anyone. the proximity to the airport and the quite quiet and especially safe location round off the beautiful ambience in the hostel.
