Honestly what is there not to like? I booked last minute and showed up and was treated like family (but not the needy type 😏) I was only going to stay for the night, but the accommodations, location, and staff (which consisted of a lovely German family and extended local family) enticed me to stay a couple more days. (last minute even) They went out of their way to make it happen, and I did have to change rooms (because of my last minute choice) but the entire experience was awesome. the rooms (both of them were comfortable,clean, there was hot water and there was wildlife everywhere. I woke up and outside my door was a young sloth mulling about and feeding. Best Hotel yet. 2 months into a 4 month trip. Also it is very close to the park and I learned if you go to park from Chaulita side it is free. so saved me money.

Friendly staff always available to assist Close to cahuita national park (10min walk to entrance) Outdoor Kitchen was perfect and didn’t have much mosquitoes You have an option to add air con if you ever need it.

Family owned business very attentive to the needs of those staying there. We enjoyed our stay there and would stay there again!!
