If you can, you gotta stay in the tent!! Huuuge king size bed, so comfortable with A/C. Bathroom with shower was perfect too! But the main reason you wanna stay there is the people!! A lot of people stay there for long so it’s really nice to have people showing you around town. Surf lessons were amazing and can’t say enough good thing about Ruddy the teacher, he is “intense” but really wants you to succeed haha Beware you’ll want to stay longer than planned! But no worries, even the dorms were nice and comfortable :)

It’s a really nice hostel! love the pool and the sofas in the chilling-room, very good for takin naps!!<3 stayed at pura Vida 2 times during my stay in Santa teresa because I liked it so much, mostly coz of the volunteers that work there<3 they were so nice and helpful and really created such a nice, welcoming and joyful atmosphere:) perfect for a solo traveler! recommend!

Nice chill vibe, great outdoor space surrounded by nature and kitchen had all equipment we needed to make meals as a group of 5! Easy walking distance to beach restaurants and two supermarkets. Host Harrison was great, really looked after us, taught a couple of us to surf and even got us all coconuts from the tree afterwards! 10/10 would go back even though none of us surf! booking.com photos don’t do the property justice.

We had a basic simple private room with a shared bathroom, from the room you can hear everything but again it’s a hostel, that’s okay. The structure it’s very tico style. The community inside was really friendly and nice. If you’re looking for a place on a budget in Montezuma and at 1 minute from the center, this is the place to come!

The hostel is in a perfect position, 5 min walking from the center of Montezuma so it’s super calm and fresher at night. it’s really immersed in the jungle so you can see iguanas and monkeys from the windows but still it has very good mosquito nets. the dorms are comfy and there are enough bathrooms for all guests. Get to see the monkeys and iguanas in the trees right outside the hostel. There was a safe in our room.

The hostel is perfectly located in Rio, whether you like museums, party, beaches, food, walks... The hostel organizes lot of activities like a fun karaoke, so you can mingle easily and meet new people. There are many cool - day or less - trips possible to do, like hikes to magnificent view points.
