Very relax and familiar ambient

We had great 2 nights staying at the Chinita Eco Lodge. The owners are really nice. She only speeks spanish, but he also speeks good english so we always could communicate well although our spanish is very bad. They also organized a kanou tour for us including an english speaking guide, which was very great. The family room we had was very spacious and clean. The breakfast, which was included, was various and included also as much coffee as you want. You can also refill your water bottles for free, which is great. The dinner including a juice as well as a small dessert, can be booked for a fair price and was also very delicious. This lodge is located directly next to the water on San Francisco. If you want to relax, this lodge is ideal, because san francisco is not that touristic. The lodge also offers a relaxing area with nice hammits. If you want to visit tortuguero you will need to take the public boat, which costs only 1000 collones one way.

The hostel is family owned and you feel the family vibe:) Marina is very nice, even with my bad spanish we somehow understood each other:) The tours I've booked were amazing, I did the nighttour, turtle tour and the Kanoutour. The breakfast was very nice and a big plus was the laundry service😊 Defenitely go back there, thank you Marina!

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. She recommended hikes we could do, local guides, and where to eat or drink. She was very helpful and nice throughout the stay.
