It was awsome! You can see almost all Costa Rica from the location. Emilio knows sooo much about nature and takes care of it incredibily. Their restaurant is really good. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.

The staff were helpful and friendly and we made use of the outdoor common areas - a backyard garden and a rooftop deck. We liked the clean kitchen. The property is somewhat idiosyncratic, about half-way between a hotel and a hostel. I think they were transitioning to a hotel during our visit. We, a couple, had a dorm room with two bunk beds and a private bath across the hall; a bit unusual but the facilities were fine.

Also mosquito-net all around. Also great covered viewing platform some 100 meters up, where we saw toucans in the morning. Very friendly owner. If you are not comfortable with driving on a steep gravel road, you can leave your car safely next to the main road, and the owner will bring you with his car.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable and the hotel has a nice roof terrace where you can lounge after a long drive and enjoy the view of the city.
