What's not to love? This hostal is beautiful and located right by the beach with a perfect sunset every day. Owner and staff are super friendly and made sure I had all I needed. Gave me all the information about the area and places to visit, to eat and do laundry. I recommend everyone to stay here.

Amazing place, right at the beach and close to Montanita center, but still quiet at night. Gloria is a fantastic host, very friendly and happy to help. Rooms are super clean and in good condition incl. A/C and hot water. There is an outdoor kitchen with everything you need, a pool table and a pool from where you can watch Iguanas in the trees.

wonderful! very large studio , kitchen , dining/work area , lounge area and bedroom. only 5 mins or so stroll to the beach. amazing views from the balcony and through the large doors Up a small hill so great for views and away from the party town noise but near enough to go and enjoy. Joos is a wonderful host and great at anticipating needs. It was a wonderful place to chill and unwind after lots of busy travelling. I couldn’t recommend more!

Everything was excellent!! The close proximity to the beach, the beautiful view from the terrace, great wifi on all floors to work remotely and a nice little kitchen to make your own meals. An excellent option for a hostel if you want to come to Montanita to Surf for a while, meet people from all over the world, and do the occasional nite out to town to party.

I really this little hidden gem. It is a very small hostel, closeby the center, but you don't hear the noise of it at night. The owner is really sweet and wants to make sure you have a wonderfull stay. You can use the kitchen if you want to cook something.

We arrived at My Little House Surf&backpacker Hostel with a reservation for 4 nights and left the second night. We left because of a very serious problem for any kind of accommodation: not being able to sleep. If you are on a budget and looking for drinking party (with a relation of 5 men for a 1 woman), may be this place can be your best option. Nevertheless, there are other options in Montañita for this price and you should read the rest of this review.

The staff are super friendly and very welcoming, the volunteers chat to everyone so it's a nice place if you are solo travelling. It's a lovely beach vibe hostel. It's away from the hustle and bustle of town so you can chill out in the day and party in the night, they have a pool table, darts, volley ball and a pool so lots of things to keep you entertained. Cheap drinks, amazing food and hot showers. We extended our stay by a week! Would definitely recommend :)
