We loved our stay here! The owner Diego was exceptional, so helpful and kind and warm. He was also incredibly knowledgeable about Otavalo and the area! The hostel was clean, the beds were comfortable and the bedding smelled fantastic! The breakfast was included and was delicious.

We had our own room as there were few enough people for everyone to have their own. Very nice and clean bathrooms. Superb kitchen with utensils

We had a perfect time in Otavalo and espacially in the Hotel El geranio. Jannet and her Family were very friendly and helpful planing Tours from Otavalo. I can highly recommend staying there to have a wonderful time in a Family Like surrounding! We felt Like Home, thanks so much again for everything!

The place offers good, cheap private rooms with a balcony and comfy beds, while still maintaining a hostel vibe, with many backpackers gathering in the kitchen. The kitchen has everything you need if you wanna cook, and the rooftop is one of the most beautiful I've seen. I ended up extending my stay over and over again. The place is located a bit outside the main area. I generally think that it's an advantage, because people who stayed at the center complained about noise. All the important places are within walking distance, though you get a bit tired of taking this route every time. The staff was friendly and happy to help with finding attractions, arranging taxis and other issues that I have. No English, but a lot of experience with non-Spanish speakers like me

The location is fantastic, the room is clean, nice and comfortable. The chair, the table make work easy and the internet is over 110mbps. The owners are really nice people
