Yellow House has one of the highest standard of cleaners I have ever seen in a Hostel style accommodation. Also, the breakfast is done each morning, is a typical Guatemala breakfast that will ensure your energy levels are kept up until lunch time. The reception staff are very helpful and the cleaning and breakfast staff have the most lovely smiles and are always very welcome and happy to help guest practice their Spanish conversation abilities. The Hostel has a full equip kitchen for guest and 3 rooms with private bathrooms for those who want to have a bit more privacy. Please know that you don't need to worry about share bathroom facilities as these are kept clean regularly, super clean actually! Well Antigua Guatemala is a great place to visit and I will be returning next year as there is a lot of to see around Antigua and beyond. Happy travels

Absolutely everything about this place exceeded my expectations. The kitchen was an absolute joy to work in. The evening cakes were incredibly delicious and never once repeated in my 6 day long stay. Gorgeous views from the terrace. Comfiest bed I've had in a while with two pillows each! That itself merits an extra star IMO. From a whole wall of books, to art supplies, to board games , to a fully equipped kitchen, to a gaming console. There is enough and more to keep one occupied. The average crowd was really nice too.

Brenda is absolutely brilliant! Our Acatenango tour didn't pick us up and she called them for us and sort it out - basically saving the day! Plus she and the team are super hardworking and friendly! Hostel is also great: super clean, really good brekkie, and great location. And very easy to meet people if you try! Lovely garden too.

One of the best hostels I stayed in Central America. Hosts are friendly and super helpful when it comes to recommendations and sorting out transport. It's clear they care about their customers and ensure you get a good deal. The hostel is amazing value for the price, clean and very comfortable mattresses, and you also get a towel. Kitchen is well equipped, with free tea and coffee. Highly recommend.
