Everything !! The cabins were spacious and fully immersed in the jungle. You can see/hear howler monkeys, hummingbirds, iguanas and more. Everything is very clean. The pool is a nice addition. Lots of space to sit back and enjoy. The food is absolutely amazing with great portions.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

This is one of the best hostels, if not the best in whole Guatemala! A lovely treasure in the jungle! The dogs are so cute and the owner is very helpful and welcoming. Dorms are with mosquito nets and the food changes every day!

The hostel is in a gorgeous peaceful setting next to the river with hammocks at the dock. Meals had large portions and were reasonably priced. Large pour of wine for slightly over $3. Owner was very nice and informative. Place was unbelievably cheap.

the best hostel I stayed in, beautifully located on a side river, you can swim in the river, the food is really good, loved that you don’t have to think of dinner, just join the family dinner. the hike to Livingston is also really nice to do. plus the owners are super friendly. the dorm is super nice with single beds and you’re in the middle of the jungle, it’s just beautiful!
