The hostel is just perfect, beautiful garden, lovely people working there, the common area. The kitchen, Supermarket just in the main street. But sandy bay is not touristy so don’t expect bars and restaurants and fancy shops… stay there if you have scuba classes around the place or if you are in a budget and don’t find something cheaper in west end.

Great social atmosphere and comfy surroundings, nice play to stay. Gym and a grocery store right close to it. Kitchen for cooking, a pool. Private rooms were comfortable. My favorite accomodation I stayed at in Roatan and one of the best hostels I stayed in Central Americam

There's a good whatsapp group you can join on arrival for meeting people and planning social trips. Owner had lots of helpful knowledge and advice about the island. Nice swimming pool. Beach, grocery store, resturants, and bus route very nearby. Hostel rents out snorkelling gear pretty cheap.

I found it to be very charming and for a hostel quite spacious. I felt like I was within nature and I like how Roatan Backpackers Hostel embraces the environment.

The hostel, for Honduras, is good quality and it's safe. I was welcomed in a nice way and they accomodated my friend who didn't have a place to stay. Taxis also had no issues finding the place.

The hostel was fantastic, it was very clean (especially the pool it was pristine!) and everyone is so friendly. Mel the owner and her staff were so helpful and friendly. You can have dinners at the hostel as well which is handy. The location is great - right next to the laundry and supermarket. You do have to get a taxi to the main attractions - but it’s still worth staying here as the taxis are so cheap ($2).

This was honestly one if the cleanest Hostels I stayed in. I don't know if it was due to Covid standards, but everything got cleaned several times a day. The atmosphere in the Hostel feels more like a family with a lot of guests staying there not for the first time. But still as a newbie and non-diver you get included right away and don't feel left out. I came to meet new people and for that this Hostel is a recommendation! Good WiFi, friendly host and staff and refreshing, clean pool. Cool coffee shop nearby.

I loved my stay at the hostel. The whole place is surrounded by tropical plants, awesome people and it has a beautiful pool. Outside the kitchen there is a little place where you can eat or just hang out. I think I've sat there every night and I met some fantastic people there. There is a big store just a 2 minute walk away, where you can buy everything you would need. It is easy to get to West End with a taxi, they drive by every 2 minutes and are pretty cheap (20 or 30 Lempiras). I would definetly reccomend this hostel.
